Julia co-founded DoubleRaven with her husband in 2004.  She keeps the books for the company, and helps us comply with Federal regulations for government contractors.  Julia has a BA in art from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia as well as a MFA in drawing and painting from the University of Georgia. Her background includes over twenty-five years in educating and tutoring students from four years of age through adult in applied art and art history. She has given private lessons, college instruction at Art Institute of Atlanta, and currently is a part time teacher for a unique private school St. John Bosco Academy which combines the best of homeschooling and traditional ‘brick and mortar’ schooling to K-12th grade students. She teaches art and history to lower school students, and introduction to theatrical set design to high school students. She has a passion for communicating through creative projects and a passion for helping others to do the same.
